Diamond Wolves
April 25, 08.Zorra - Okay, so we're trying something with these side boxes, hope they'll make it a little easier to get news and such about the site, also the Cbox is on the side too, so no more scrolling to the bottom on the screen to see it.
It is winter in the forest and snow is falling through out the lands.
The changing lands are the perfect winter wonderland, better get over there with your pups and have some fun before it returns to the scared waste land on sand and dust in the summer
IC Information
The snow has filled the river in Ivory Fang terratory and they need to find another sorce of water. The lake in the loner lands has partly frozen over and one will need to walk on the ice to get a drink. Wildlife is flurishing though, most of the bigger prey has gone into hibornation, but the small prey is plentuyful

Snowy winds howled through the forest. Something black slinks through the snowy forest floor. Duskfur raised her head and sniffed. No prey, not unusual for it is winter. "I better find some prey soon, before I starve," Duskfur thought.
She walked forward, and sniffed in the air once in a while, to see if there are any hiding prey.

"Any luck yet?"
A voice called out from a curtain of swirling snow. From the white gale came gold, intelligent eyes followed by the large, silver bodice of the Alpha. Silver trotted next to Duskfur and gave her a smile, before lifting his snout to catch any scents.

As if by instinct, Duskfur lowered her head down, her black eyes looking at the snowy floor, and meekly answered no. She is so used of other wolves criticizing her that she lowered her head everytime she met one.
And this is an Alpha. She is shy, meeting such a high ranked wolf.

A soft spoken "No." was his female member's reply, and he stopped glancing for prey. He lowered his head and maw, looking to Duskfur's figure. "Don't be shy, please." he said kindly, feeling that this was why she lowered her head to the snow. He came up to her, and friendly nuzzled her. "Don't worry about food, we'll find some." he spoke with excitement. He shifted his paw, it was getting numb, and he waited for Duskfur's response.

"But you are an Alpha!" Duskfur can't help saying that out, "I should be the last you are kind to." Duskfur missed the last sentence that Silver said. She shifted her own paws for a while. Then she noticed Silver shifting his paws too.
"Ah, I am sorry! I made you cold and numb," Duskfur said in panic.

Silver gave her a thoughtful look at Duskfur's first words. His childish side came out, and he lowered his head, looking into her eyes with a silly, amused expression. But her attention was else where, mainly at her paws then to his.
"Ah, I am sorry! I made you cold and numb!" the female cried out.
With this, Silver gave a start. "Oh, it isn't you that makes me cold!" he said, chuckling lightly. "Nature is the one whom had make the lands white." Silver suddenly was attentive, and his eyes turned away though her still faced Duskfur.

Duskfur smiled at the kindness of the Alpha. She look away for a while, before her ears pricked at the sound of shuffling feet. She turned around to see a squirrel running.

Her relaxed features told him that she was less stressed and was enjoying his company now. His eyes flickered over her, despite the squirrel present, he wanted to see if she too saw it. When her eyes strayed to it, a mischievous smile lit his face. "Wanna go for it?" he invited, he wanted to see her skills and besides, he wanted to be a gentleman.

"Well, can I?" Duskfur asked. "I think you should!" she said. She wanted to see how great the Alpha is because she often heard rumors that he is a very good hunter. "You can have it," Duskfur added."
